What is the meaning behind your skater name?

It's a play off of Dottie Hinson from A League of Their Own.

What was your athletic background prior to playing roller derby?

I played soccer since I was a kid through high school and I played softball since middle school through college.

What aspect of derby do you enjoy the most?

The camaraderie and that there is always a new challenge to tackle and improve myself with.

How did you get started in your roller derby career?

A girlfriend in college took me to watch a Naptown bout in Indy. It was the first time I had heard of or watched derby and from then on I knew once I graduated college I would join up and play.
