What is the meaning behind your skater name?

What was your athletic background prior to playing roller derby?

Prior to playing roller derby, I taught indoor cycling and Pilates classes for five years. I also LOVE a good Zumba class!

Is there a song that gets you pumped up before a bout?

Good as Hell by Lizzo, Cruel Summer by Taylor Swift.

What aspect of derby do you enjoy the most?

I really love how much it has pushed me outside my comfort zone and challenged me in so many ways. Plus getting to know everyone in the community has been amazing!

How did you get started in your roller derby career?

I have wanted to try roller derby for years, but never actually went for it because I didn't know how to skate. Finally, in 2018 I decided to sign up for Skater Tots to try roller derby - and learn how to skate in the process! I never thought I would actually go out there and try it, so it has been so much fun learning something new.
