neonskates copyWho wants to be a Burning River Roller Girl? Well, EVERYONE!!! So we’ll be holding boot camps led by BRRG coaches to teach skaters everything they need to know to pass tryouts this August. Boot camp #3 is NEXT WEEK – Wednesday May 22 from 8:45 PM to 11 PM!

Super Special bonus!!  Come at 7 to watch the Burning River Roller Girls have their league Neon Vs. White scrimmage!!!

Requirements: – You must own or make your own arrangements to borrow gear from someone you know: quad skates, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, helmet, and mouth guard

– $10 cash or check for the boot camp fee

– You must be 18 years of age and older (bring state ID or driver’s license)

– You must have health insurance (bring proof of insurance)

– You must have very basic skating competency (be able to skate safely without holding onto a wall or another person)

To become a Burning River Roller Girl you must pass a minimum number of skills.  At these boot camps, coaches will instruct the participating skaters how to perform the skills necessary. These skills are listed under the bold headings “Basic Skating Skills,” “Balance/Agility,” and “Skating With Others” on this checklist:
