Community Events Recap

Burning River Roller Derby loves getting out into the community to connect with fans, especially when it involves supporting other local groups. That’s why we were so excited when The Chromes, one of our favorite local bands, invited us to help them celebrate the release of their latest CD! The party went down on December 19th at CODA in Tremont, and BRRD raffled off some cool prizes while enjoying good times, great music, and awesome people. Everyone who attended had a blast! This event was extra special for BRRD because the new album, Let It Roll, features BRRD skaters on the cover! You can see it for yourself on The Chromes’ website, and make sure to check out their music while you’re at it!
 
Next up is the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown Cleveland. We get to “march” (errr…skate) along with other awesome local organizations and show off some of our sweet skating moves. Skating in the parade is one of our favorite events each year, so be sure to look for us on March 17th – we’ll be the ones on wheels!
