Travel team bouts

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Burning River Roller Girls regretfully must cancel the bout against the Windy City Rollers of Chicago July 21 at the Cleveland State Wolstein Center.

Those who have season passes or have already purchased tickets for this event will receive a refund through the Wolstein Center. Purchases made using a credit card online, on the phone or in person will be refunded automatically within 7-10 business days of today to the card on which they were purchased. You don’t need to do anything.

Tickets bought with cash at the box office must be returned to the box office to receive a refund. Refunds can be obtained within a year of the event date during normal box office hours (Monday-Friday 10 a.m.–6 p.m.). The Wolstein Center box office also will be open Saturday, July 21 from 5 p.m.–7 p.m. for refunds.

Also, as a gift to our dedicated fans, those who purchased season tickets or advance tickets for the July 21 bout will receive a free ticket to Black & Blue 7, the league’s annual charity bout, which will take place later this fall. A date has not been solidified at this time. For more information on how to claim your ticket or any other questions, email tickets@burningriverrollergirls.com.

Until then, Burning River Roller Girls has plenty of fun events planned this summer. The travel teams will have more away bouts both far and near. And the league will be hosting a special screening of the film Derby Baby, Thursday, Aug. 16 at the Capitol Theater. Check back on our website for all the upcoming details!
